Discover the Green UpSkills Methodology
At Green UpSkills, we believe that education and training are pivotal in creating a sustainable future.
Learning new skills and recognizing green job opportunities can empower adults, fostering an
entrepreneurial mindset and enabling them to contribute to a more sustainable world.
Our project also emphasizes the importance of updating curricula to include the latest knowledge on the
green economy and sustainability, particularly for adults and employees.
The Green UpSkills Methodology is a comprehensive resource designed for non-vocational educators. It
offers solutions for designing and delivering training, workshops, and educational events that promote eco-friendly habits using digital tools. Educators will learn to provide feedback, engage learners
creatively, and effectively navigate online content.
The Methodology consists of three main parts:
- Introduction to Green Skills & Green Jobs
- A Sustainable Curriculum for Adults
- Tools & Resources for Sustainable Development and Ecological Behaviors at Work
The accompanying Handbook provides a sustainable curriculum based on the Green UpSkills project,
serving as a practical example.
Additionally, the Methodology includes a library of examples, ideas, best practices, and digital tools for
developing eco-friendly habits. It features tests to assess educators’ knowledge of innovative teaching
methods, digital tools, and skills and knowledge assessment methods, which are essential for lifelong
learning improvement.
Our Methodology is a unique resource, and there is currently no similar manual available. Adult
educators can access the Handbook in English, Romanian, and Italian, in both PDF and online versions
via our project webpage. Join us in shaping a sustainable future through education and training!
